Canon Printer Driver Download 

1. First and foremost, launch any Web Browser available on your Computer. For example, Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Mozilla etc.
2. Now, you must go to Canon’s Printer Setup website. For this, type in “canon.com/ijsetup” in the Browser’s Address Bar. Then, hit the “Enter” key from your keyboard.
3. Next, you should look for the “Setup” button on the upper left-hand side of this webpage. Hence, click on it to open its Setup page.
4. The following window displays a “Search Bar” prompting you to enter your Printer’s Model Number. Hence, enter the Model Number accurately. You can find it on the front side of your printer. Else, you can check your Printer Invoice for the same. Then, click on the “Go” tab.
5. Alternatively, you can select your Printer’s Model Number by browsing through the list of options given on this window.
6. The following window will prompt you to specify your Computer’s OS. For instance, Windows or Mac. Along with that, canon.com/ijsetup will also require you to select your Region and Country. Hence, make the appropriate choices on this window.
7. As a result, it will display a secure and latest Download link for the specified OS and your Printer. Hence, click on the highlighted “Download” button to initiate the downloading process.
8. Then, wait for the process to complete properly.  

Canon Printer Driver Installation

For Windows

1. Begin canon.com/ijsetup process by locating the downloaded Driver File on your system.
2. Now, double-click the Driver Software File and open it.
3. Next, you will get the “User Account Control” window prompting you to permit the Installation process. Hence, permit the same by clicking on the “Yes” button.
4. As a result, it will open the Welcome screen of the “Installation Wizard”. Here, you should click on the “Language” tab and make an appropriate selection.
5. Then, click “Next” to proceed with the canon.com/ijsetup process.
6. The following window prompts you to “Select Your Place Of Residence”. Hence, carefully make the appropriate choice. Then, click “Next”.
7. Thereafter, the “License Agreement” window will appear. Hence, closely review the terms for the same. Then, accept them by clicking on the “Yes” button.
8. Subsequently, select “Deactivate the Block” option on the Firewall Settings window. Then, click “Next”.
9. On the following “Connection Method” window, select Wired or Wireless as per your Printer. Then, click “Next” to proceed with canon.com/ijsetup.
10. Thereafter, follow on-screen instructions and complete the Network Connection.
11. Once the process completes, it will display the software available for Installation. Hence, click “Next” to initiate the “Installation” process.
12. Then, wait for the process to complete successfully.
13. Finally, click “Exit” on the “Installation Complete” window.
14. At last, restart your computer to complete the canon.com/ijsetup process.    

For Mac

1. Begin canon.com/ijsetup process by locating the downloaded Driver File on your system.
2. Now, double-click the Driver Software File and open it.
3. On the following window, double-click on “Setup”.
4. As a result, you will get a Security Warning pop-up box. Hence, click “Open” to proceed with canon.com/ijsetup.
5. Now, click “Yes/ Continue” on the Welcome window of the Installer.
6. Next, the “Software License Agreement” window will appear on your screen. Hence, closely review the terms. Here, you can read the terms in your preferred language. For this, click on the “Language” drop-down box and make a choice. Subsequently, click “Continue” to proceed further. 7. As a result, a pop-up box will appear to seek your consent for the terms of License given on the last window. Hence, select “Agree”.
8. Finally, click “Install” on the following “Installation” window. 9. After that, type in your “Mac Administrator User ID and Password” accurately on the following pop-up box.
10. Then, click “Install Software”.
11. Consequently, it will begin the Installation process for canon.com/ijsetup. Hence, wait for the same.
12. Then, click “Exit” on the “Installation Complete” window.
13. At last, restart your mac device.
